MYB Travel Baseball Registration & Final Tryouts — 2027 Season

Hello Families!

We’re excited to share an additional opportunity for players interested in MYB Travel Baseball!

Following our recent travel team tryouts, we are very encouraged by the number of athletes who have shown interest in our travel program. We have strong groups of players already identified for each team, and we’re looking to add a few more players to each roster to round out the teams and provide the best possible experience for everyone involved.

Because we still have a few roster spots available, we will be holding a third tryout opportunity for players who are interested in being considered for a MYB Travel team. This will be another chance for athletes to showcase their skills and round out our teams.

Tryouts

· Final Session: Wednesday, September 9th at 6:00pm at the MYB Fields

If for some reason you cannot make this tryout session, please still register online.  We will reach out to you individually to determine how to proceed.  We understand everyone has different schedules and don't want to leave anyone out just because of that.

Tryout Notes:

· You only need to attend ONE tryout.

   · If you cannot make either, see below.

· As long as you arrive before the end time, you will be able to tryout.

   · MYB is being as accommodating as possible knowing other sports are starting.

· Parents are not allowed to watch the tryouts to allow the players to focus on the skill drills. Please wait in your vehicle or find something else to do for that time.

   · Time will depend on group size, but expect around one hour to complete all drills for the main group and an additional 15-30 minutes if pitching and/or catching.

· If you arrive later due to other commitments and the group is smaller, it should take less time.

· We will reschedule if the weather is not accommodating.

· Players will need:

  · Bat (any) and helmet

  · Glove

· MYB will provide:

  · Catching gear (players can bring their own if desired)

We are still looking for applicants to take on the 8u and 10u head coach roles. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please reach out to MYB. These teams cannot take the field without dedicated coaches, and we would love to hear from you.
